{brandon | bar mitzvah | valencia}

I can't believe how fast time flies by. It feels like just last month we photographed Brandon's older brother, Matt's Bar Mitzvah. Since that was in 2010, I would say we are well past a month, lol. And omg I can't believe how big Matt has gotten. Amazing how they seem to spout up overnight! Brandon has grown so much and did such a wonderful job reading the Torah, hard to believe he was just a little kid a few years back. It was such a pleasure to work with the Witkin family again. They are adorable and one of our favorite families! I still can't get over how big and grown up the boys are getting. One of my favorite things about the Witkin's is the relationship they have with each other, so sweet to see them interact and love each other as you can see below. Brandon's Bar Mitvah theme was games, how cool! Games ranged from old arcade games like PacMan and blah blah to the Wii and PlayStation. Love the mix of vintage and modern. Way to go mom! ;-) It was great to see all the kids and adults having such a great time. Mazel Tov Brandon! Glad to have been part of such a special event!

{gift registry | news}

Brides are no longer registering for traditional wedding gifts on their Bridal Registry. Current wedding couples may no longer require household items traditionally requested because they have been living on their own for any number of years.

In the end, china and flatware are often put into storage, toasters are returned, and serving platters are re-gifted, but wedding photography is forever!

This is where The Wedding Photo Registry is an exciting idea!

The Photo Registry is not limited to just weddings, it can be applied to baby registries, bridal showers, engagement parties, birthdays, etc.

Here's How It Works!

Bride & Groom...

The Krista Mason Photo Registry is a great way to increase your budget for wedding photography services by allowing family, friends and guests to purchase gift certificates toward your wedding photography.

Krista Mason Photography provides a link for the bride and groom to be placed on their wedding website. The link provides friends and family with information on how to help the bride and groom with their wedding photography.

The Wedding Photo Registry is the perfect gift for the bride and groom!

To get started add Krista Mason Photography to your wedding website registry list and the following link http://kristamason.blogspot.com/2010/03/gift-registry-news_30.html

Family and Friends…

The Wedding Photo Registry allows guests to purchase wedding images and books for the wedding couple. This is a gift that will not be returned and cherished for a lifetime! The gift buyer may simply call our office to place an order.

The gift certificates can be purchased in any amount starting at $25 and will be applied to any additional purchases the couple desires. These can be anything from framed wall portraits, additional pages, or beautiful gallery wraps for their home. The limits are endless and are customized to each couple.

Once a gift registry request has been processed, gift certificates can be created with your own customized message and we'll mail the certificate to you or directly to the bride and groom.

One of the most cherished possessions the bride and groom will ever have is their wedding photography. Wouldn't it be nice to be a part of this lasting memory?

Call us at 310.569.1535 or e-mail at Krista@kristamason.com to purchase your gift certificates.

{matt | bar mitzvah}

I had the pleasure of photographing my first Bar Mitzvah for the Witkin family, which was held at William S. Hart Park. The Witkin’s are very fun and energetic and I had a blast getting to know the rest of the family. We got some stunning shots of Matt and his family and friends. Although Matt was very nervous prior to the ceremony, he did an awesome job reading. It was so wonderful seeing the ceremony and how proud his parents and family were. During the reception Matt and his friends who are in a band performed and did a great job. I love the street fair theme and all the details, everything looked great. I really enjoyed the day and new experience. Thanks for the awesome opportunity and I hope you enjoy the images!

P.S. Don't forget to click on the images to view them larger. Enjoy
