On my recent hunts for locations to shoot at, I have decided to bring along my camera and capture the beauty of the locations. So periodically I will share my favorite locations in their raw nature without subjects. I had a lot of fun photographing my scouting experience. I haven't photographed landscapes without people since I was in high school, and well that was a long time ago. It was fun going back to my roots. Hope you enjoy this new section of love this!

Loves me…essie’s “merino cool” nail color. I always pick out colors I think I will like and then after I put them on, I don’t like it as much as I thought. No matter if I am at the salon or doing it myself. My favorite brands of nail polish are Essie and OPI and I finally found one I adore, even after I put it on. A little bit of a purple grayish color, YAY!

Loves me not…cleaning, but then again who really does. I know there are some of you who enjoy it, but is it the cleaning you enjoy or the aftermath. Even though I am not fond of cleaning, I sure do love it once it all looks so pretty and pristine.

{friday photo tip | weddings | engagement}

A trial makeup and hair session is a great way to figure out if you really like the look when it comes to your wedding day. A trial will help you visualize what works for you, so on your BIG DAY you are not having any regrets. As a bonus, you can utilize your trial for your engagement images to see how you like it in professional photographs. This way you will have beautiful hair and makeup for your engagement images that you will be displaying at your wedding and in your home. So try and schedule your makeup/hair trial the same day you plan on having your engagement session. If you plan on an updo for your wedding, you may want to have the stylist take it down or fix it for a more casual look, as your engagement photos are usually more casual. Be sure to allow enough time for hair and makeup so you aren’t late to your session.

Loves me…Headbands and hair pieces. A simple accessory to add a glamorous look for a everyday occasion or a special occasion. Love Ban.do, Twigs and Honey, Lo Boheme, Forever21 accessories store, and just found some awesome ones in the fabric district downtown.

Loves me not…allergies!!!! Being in a haze and fog while trying to work and function is not so fun. Looks like I will be going back on my allergy medication, aka "my crack drug", at least I will get lots of work done and have a super clean house!
