{erica & zeb | e-session}

Last weekend just before the rain started I had the pleasure of photographing Erica and Zeb for their e-session. They selected Third Street Promenade and Santa Monica Beach for their session. We had fun walking around the alleys and finding cool spots to stop and photograph. Erica and Zeb are such a cute and sweet couple and I really enjoyed getting to know them. After we walked around the alleys of Santa Monica we headed down to the beach to capture another amazing sunset on the beach. Hope you guys had fun and can’t wait till the wedding!

{valerie & scott | e-session}

Valerie and Scott selected LACMA as the location for their engagement session. We had the opportunity to walk all around the outside of the Museum and get some really fun shots. Valerie and Scott used to live in the area and would take their dog walking around La Brea Tar Pits. I haven’t been there in years (probably since the last field trip in school, lol) and it was fun to walk around and photograph in the area. V and S are super sweet and just naturally started laughing with eachother and sharing their relationship for me to capture. It was a fun shoot and we got some excellent images.

{krista mason photography | news}

Some of you may have noticed a change in our website and name, Transition Photography. After much thought and consideration I am excited to announce I have decided to change the company name to Krista Mason Photography. You will notice our name change soon on all of our mailings, packaging, invoices and promotional materials. You ask why the name change, and it comes down to marketing and first impressions. After attending a seminar with Jerry Ghionis, my mentor and favorite photographer, it was advised that Transition Photography might have some negative or confusing connotations attached to the name. After conferring with a marketing expert and realizing this may be the case I decided Krista Mason Photography had a better sound and read to it at first glance. As always, we will continue to serve you with the same devotion and quality, which you have come to expect. Please bear with us as we are switching from Transition Photography to Krista Mason Photography. We expect to be in full swing as Krista Mason Photography by the end of February.
