{jamie + rudy | engagement | torrance}

Jamie and Rudy are so smitten! I love their sweet and tender moments together followed by huge laughs! Just my kinda couple. Plus, they are big foodies! I loved hearing about all their favorite places to eat, got some good ideas of places to try when Aldo and I are out for date night! Now, if only I can remember them, hehe. Rudy took a bit to get warmed up for the session, but once he and Aldo bonded over beer and food, it was just another good time hanging out with friends. Jamie and Rudy decided to do their engagement session in Torrance. Turns out that Rudy and I attended the same High School. Small world! Jamie is a Valley girl (well she at least grew up here in the Valley) and just recently moved to the South Bay with Rudy. Still trying to adjust to the beach life, but I know she will love it in no time! Can't beat the weather! With the two of them starting their new lives together in Torrance, we decided to start off in old Torrance for a little urban feel and then headed down to the beach for a perfect view! I hope you two had as much fun as we did! ;-)

Thanks Sara (At Your Door Events) for referring such a darling couple! We can't wait for the big day!

{friday photo tip}

Signature cocktails are a great way to personalize your wedding! You can color match them or just pick your favorite cocktails. Display a cute sign, straws, glassware etc. to top it off. Have fun with it!

{krystene + tony | wedding | bali hai}

It has been a while since I have blogged, but what better way to start it off than with our first wedding of the season with Krystene and Tony (yes, that is how long it has been since I blogged)! I love Krystene and Tony, they are so adorable and funny. Krystene and Tony happen to be good friends of Aldo and I, this isn't the first wedding of a friend that we have photographed and hopefully won't be the last. Aldo and I prefer to be guests at friends weddings, but we recently have come around to being open to capturing our friends special moments. In the end I become friends with all of our wonderful clients, so what is different than starting out friends, lol. So far it has been a blast and Krystene and Tony's was no exception! The one thing I will say it is the first wedding where I have actually cried. I have been teary eyed, a little choked-up, but never actually shed a tear and had to pause. I blame this on Krystene as she is not the crying type and she was teary eyed through the whole ceremony (even now thinking about it I get emotional, lol).

I love the record theme that Krystene and Tony have created. The silhouette records down the aisles are to die for. And how adorable is the guest list as sheets of music. Those of you that know Tony, know, he is a huge music fan and major guitar collector. What a grand idea they had to have guests sign a guitar that will now become wall art. Krystene looked absolutely amazing in her custom made gown and her wedding was absolutely beautiful and amazing.  Krystene's insistence that she would not "walk" but would "dance" down is a perfect example of how fun this wedding was!

Needless to say we had a wonderful time and I couldn't be happier to share and capture these special moments with some wonderful people. Congratulations Krystene and Tony! xoxo
