{portrait | family | poliner | redondo beach}

How adorable is the Polinar family and their newest addition! Such a beautiful family. I had the pleasure of being introduced to the Polinar’s by Jaimi of Fiore Beauty. Mandy is one of Fiore’s artists and her family is so lovely! I just loved the wall décor, so much so I had to incorporate it into the family portraits! These boys are so cute and so well behaved, we had a great time at the shoot. The laughter, energy and characters were amazing. Thanks for a fun session!

{friday photo tip}

Lighting is a huge key in getting amazing portraits. Be sure you talk with your photographer about the best time to take your portraits. Don't try and squeeze a portrait session in the middle of a busy day, you may miss a great opportunity for stunning images.

{portrait | family | griffin | santa monica}

The Griffins and I thought Santa Monica pier would be a fun summer session to start off their family session for this year. The fun rides, cotton candy, pinwheels and bright colorful background along with the ocean made for a fun setting. I have been photographing the Griffins for a few years now and it is amazing to see how fast the kids are growing. It has been a blast watching them grow and having the chance to photograph them, not only every year, but several times a year. Hope you guys enjoyed the pier and had a great time. Can’t wait for the next session, it is gonna be a crazy fun one!

{friday photo tip}

Plan out your session location with your photographer. Between the two of you, you can find the perfect location for your style in combination with the best background for your images. If you like more modern it is going to be a different setting than more vintage. After all, you want your location to match your style, and that takes planning.
