Vanessa and Mike are adorable! I love how they were laughing and joking from the first shot we took. It sure did make the session fly by with ease! They were just giggling and goofing off with eachother the entire time and it made for some great images. Vanessa is one of Gianna's (Chic Celebrations) best friends and I was so honored when she told me she wanted me as her wedding photographer. Of course I jumped all over it! Gianna is amazing and Vanessa and Mike are one of the most fun loving couples. We had such a great time on the cute little main street in Newport and around Newport Bay. Newport Bay is a special spot for them as that is where Mike proposed. It was very sweet to walk along one of their favorite spots and capture them in their natural environment. Love when sessions are personal and intimate. Makes the images so much more special and unique. Can't wait for your big day!

Love this impromptu session with the lovely Roxie. When she reached out to me and said she wanted to do two looks “Soft Roxie” and “Rock n’ Roll Roxie” I jumped all over it.  A little bit of the soft romantic look with the hard edgy urban look is right up my alley and true to my style. Both looks are not only Roxie’s true persona and style, but mine as well.  So this session hit true to my heart and soul, plus I adore Roxie. Major props go out to Beautified by Angela who did both looks for the session. She not only did an amazing job on Roxie’s hair and make-up, but changed from soft to rock in under 20 mins on location in the back seat (amazing talent)! Love a good stylist that can roll with the punches and challenges of the day! {stacie + matt | engagement | malibu}

Happy New Year! We still have a few more sessions to share with you from 2011. First up is Stacie and Matt’s engagement session! Stacie and Matt are so adorable and I just love their new pup Scout, who was also included in the session! His little bow tie is just darling! We started the session off in open fields and then headed to the beautiful beach in Malibu. It was amazing how it went from 80 degrees to 60 by the beach in just a short drive. But in both locations we got some amazing images of the loveable couple and we couldn’t be happier! I love the props and ideas that Stacie incorporated into her session. Just a little added touch to bring everything together. I can’t wait for the big day and all the wonderful ideas to come to life.
