{rachel + mark | wedding}

I was very excited when May 1, 2010 rolled around, it was Rachel and Mark’s wedding day. YAY! R+M and Aldo and I have become friends over the year. From the day Rachel and I first met at the bridal show we hit it off and things have just continued to grow from there. I can’t stress enough how important it is to have a great photographer, but even more to have a great connection with your photographer. I am lucky enough to have this with all my wonderful clients, thank you all so much for being great friends. :-)

When Aldo and I first walked into the room we both were taken back at how stunning Rachel looked. Don’t get me wrong she looks great everyday, but WOW did she look amazing on her wedding day. I couldn’t wait for Mark to see her! Rachel added a bit of extra time prior to the ceremony for a few special sessions, one of them being a mini boudoir session (sorry guys for Mark’s eyes only but man did she look hot ;) ). The other session was a chance for R+M to see each other prior to the ceremony and have an intimate moment together, all while being captured on camera. It was so sweet to watch the two of them see each other for the first time. You could see the love and intimacy that glowed between them. So much so that all day they needed very little direction for the romantics, it just seemed to flow out of them naturally.

The wedding was held at the Hyatt in Valencia and everything was very simple and elegant, just like R+M. I had a great time photographing the bridal party and their outgoing personalities, lol. The bridal party was amazing; they all stuck around until R+M were done with all photos. That means they missed cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres. I honestly have never seen the entire bridal party voluntarily wait around for the couple to finish the romantics. You know how I can get carried away and continue to photograph forever, so it was amazing and just shows what a sweet and caring couple R+M are, as well as their friends.

Thank you for including us in your speacial day and your life’s. It has been a pleasure getting to know you both and we look forward to seeing you guys again. Hope you enjoyed your wedding, now time to enjoy your photos, which I know Rachel has been patiently waiting for, lol.
