Krista Mason Photography: {jennifer + mike | wedding

Jennifer & Mike were married in beautiful Santa Barbara on July 9, 2010 at the stunning Four Seasons Biltmore. The wedding flowers and design by Nico Designs were striking. In fact, while I was photographing the reception room, the mother of the bride came in for a sneak peek and had her breath taken away. She proceeded to tear up out of amazement at how beautiful it all looked. Amusing, as I couldn’t get her to tear up for family shots, but Nico got her to lose composure with his marvelous room décor, lol. The details of the room were astonishing which made the Four Seasons glimmer even more. The additional lighting details were eye-catching and made for some great photos with the couple. Nico did a fabulous job and provided exactly what the couple was looking for. Just remarkable!

As the string quartet serenely played, Jennifer walked down the isle with her dad, nervously waiting to see Mike’s face, to catch that perfect moment. Mike and Jennifer’s faces glowed as they caught each other’s eyes for the first time on their wedding day! Such a sweet and cherished moment. Tears welled up amongst everyone who looked on as Jennifer and Mike said their I do’s.

Jennifer & Mike are one of the sweetest couples, as well as their families. Jennifer’s mom and dad were so charming and cute, while Mike’s family was a riot; a union made in heaven. Jennifer looked radiant in her Maggie Sorrento gown and her make-up and hair were flawless. Mike didn’t look half bad himself, haha! Jennifer & Mike are so adorably in love with a tenderness and affection that shines through them.

Lindsey Hartsough, with Magnolia Event Design, did an amazing job coordinating the day and staying on top of every detail. We all know if left to my own devises I would photograph the couple all day long, but Lindsey made sure to keep me on my toes and on time, lol. Ladies, if you are looking for someone to take charge and get things done, Lindsey is your girl. She did a great job, making Jennifer & Mike’s day the perfect affair they could hope for!

As an added note, I love the idea of the photo booth; a cute and playful addition to add to your wedding reception. Let me tell you, the bridesmaids were having a blast with the photo booth and got quite a few funny flirty moments together!
