{kristen + matt | inn of the seventh ray | wedding}

Kristen and Matt are a fun loving and energetic couple. Kristen is one of my favorite coordinators who happens to work at Pickwick Gardens, which is how we met. We hit it off right away and out of the many photographers she works with I was honored and thrilled that she selected me. I was so excited and happy because we always have a great time together for her Pickwick weddings.

Kristen looked absolutely amazing in her dress. Actually both dresses, since she decided to change after the formalities so she could get her dance on! While she looked elegant and beautiful in her first dress, she looked stunning and sexy in the second (which was awesome for the night shots). Even her shoes were stunning and dazzled up, but of course you can’t go wrong with Christian Louboutin! All the details were impeccable and her invitation was so unique and eye-catching! Kristen put much thought and effort into all the details and planning, and it sure did pay off! Everything looked spectacular!

I loved that Kristen and Matt were up for anything, even before the wedding day. During the consultation she said, “whatever you need and whatever time you need you will get”. And oh did I! Kristen and Matt decided to see eachother before hand (Kristen won that battle, haha), which allowed for much more time to focus on the images. With no guests to distract and plenty of time before the ceremony we had loads of fun and time with the couple, bridal party and families!

Across the street from Inn of the Seventh Ray, which is where Kristen and Matt had their lovely ceremony and reception, was a little road where we got to play around and photograph. The lighting was just perfect and the rustic backdrop made for some charming and energetic photos!

One of my favorite images is K+M in front of the horses! Partly because while shooting Kristen, she mentioned how she loved horses. So when I saw the horses I thought, what a perfect shot. I am so glad that the horses thought so too and posed so well for us. ;) wink

Kristen’s two girls, (the flower girl and maid of honor) were so adorable and did such a great job. The speech that they gave during the reception with the matron of honor had the whole party in tears (I even got a little chocked up). It was such a sweet moment for the new family!

We had a great time with K+M. I know Kristen particularly enjoyed when Aldo and I demonstrated what we wanted her and Matt to do with the poses, lol. Matt was such a trooper with all the photos, since he really hates having his photo taken, lol. That is true love! Cheers to your new future together!
