I felt so honored when Gianna of Chic Celebrations asked me if I would photograph her Dad's wedding. Well, of course I would. I love Gianna and after just a few moments with her family my heart opened to them as well. Laurie and Brad have been sweethearts for years and finally decided to have a small intimate ceremony making it official. These two are so in love and you can see it through the images. I had such a wonderful time capturing their laughs, love and tenderness. Brad and Laurie go hiking along these trails at Reef Point almost every weekend and thought it would be a delightful spot to say their "i do's". What a perfect day, with a perfect view for such a perfect couple. Even though Brad and Laurie hike here often, they couldn't get enough of the view (and the birds, they love the birds, lol). Wanting to keep it small, intimate and low key they invited their closest friends and family to the ceremony and a small reception dinner held at Patril Bistro. Heavenly Blooms created the beautiful floral arrangements that were a perfect match for this small, quiet, elegant, and classic wedding and Gianna of course stepped it up with her fabulous event coordination. Thank you so much for having us part of such a special day. We truly enjoyed the day.

{erin + patrick | engagement session | vintage roadtrip}

Erin and Patrick were the lucky winners of the Greylikes giveaway collaboration shoot with Krista Mason Photography, and Chic Celebrations! The shoot was inspired by vintage roadtrips, VW Bus, and Americana! Thanks to Found Rentals for the vintage luggage! We had a blast with the rented VW along the side of the road with the beautiful mountain view and then down to Laguna Beach! Erin and Patrick were super sweet and we had fun capturing their roadtrip to Orange County!

This sweet mini holiday love shoot has a vintage modern feel with the beer barrel, ribbons, burlap and lace being the inspiration! Bringing it all together with the soda cases, vintage glasses, DIY pendants, vintage keys, trunks and some sweet love. Gianna SanFilippo of Chic Celebration did a marvelous job with the setup, loved all the little details and style she added. Jennifer Nunn-Iwai of NunnBetter Design styled the clothing for the couple, Rachel and Mark, who looked absolutely stunning. Rachel wore clothing and accessories from both J. Crew and Lanvin for H&M with shoes by Joe's Jeans and Yves Saint Laurent. As for Mark, he also wore clothing from H&M, accessories from Gentry and Target. The lovely sweets were provided by My Sweet & Saucy to match the purple color scheme! The teal, purple and lace were wrapped to fishing wire tied to stands to make a chandelier backdrop and add color to the picturesque Vasquez Rocks. The DIY pendants were made to match the teal and purple holiday color scheme. The wind and pendants weren’t cooperating for table top decor, but they still added a nice touch! Gianna did a wonderful job improvising! Jennifer and Gianna were amazing to work with and I would recommend them for any shoot from portraits to engagements to weddings!
